WE ARE A COMPASSIONATE TEAM

OF

URBAN CHURCHES AND MINISTRIES

We are a group of incarnational urban ministries and individuals networked together to fulfill the Great Commission through the church. In 2009, we formed the National Urban Ministry Association (NUMA).   NUMA is responsible for organizing the annual National Urban Ministry Conference.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the National Urban Ministry Conference is to bring together urban churches, urban ministers, urban ministry leaders, urban workers, church planters, partner church leaders, and others to engage in worship, training, and formal dialogue to address the crucial issues facing our city through God's justice and peace.

NUMC HISTORY

The National Urban Conference is an annual conference of urban ministries and churches started in 1991.
